Meet Michelle

Michelle is co-owner of About Face & Body Medical Spa with her husband, Steven C. Spencer, M.D. She graduated from UTMB in Galveston, TX with her Physician Assistant degree in 1986 and certified in medicine and surgery. She has over 35 years of medical experience in women’s health, as well as primary care with a focus on skin care, preventive care, and wellness. She began aesthetics in 2005 with the purchase of their first multiple platform laser, along with BOTOX and injectable fillers. Michelle carefully considers the patient’s requests and has applied her high requirements of safety and effectiveness and has added multiple lasers, devices, and products to meet the demands of her clients. She is a perfectionist who specializes in facial artistry with noninvasive facial procedures and has been providing her patients natural-looking, dependable results for years. She makes it her personal goal to provide the safest, most dependable, cutting-edge treatments in the West Houston/Katy area and cares for her patients like family.

"I went to About Face after feeling like Botox & dysport were not working as well for me anymore. They were wearing off FAST. I went to see Michelle because I saw that About Face did Daxxify and I wanted to see if it would work better.Michelle was very sweet and talked to me about the product and she listened to my concerns. She gave me the option to do a regular dose of Daxxify, or a double dose which is supposed to last twice as long.I was concerned the double dose wouldn’t last long since I’ve already been having issues with Botox wearing off fast, but I decided to give it a try.I am so glad I did, because it lasted at least 8 months which is crazy! I finally went back in yesterday to do a double dose after 11 months.She did such a great job the first time that I told her whatever you did last time, do it again!"

I have some serious anxiety surrounding needles, especially near my face, so one of the reasons I initially chose this spa was because they offered Pronox. Takes enough edge of my anxiety for me to be able to get treatments, but without being overpowering and it wears off 100% in under ten minutes. LOVE this place."
