What to Expect with JUVÉDERM

JUVÉDERM treatments generally take about 15 – 30 minutes, depending on which areas we treat. At the beginning of your appointment, a team member cleans the skin and marks the injection sites. JUVÉDERM fillers contain a local anesthetic (lidocaine) to decrease discomfort throughout the procedure. Following your treatment, you can resume your routine, but you should avoid strenuous activities, like exercise, for at least a day. Additionally, please make sure that you do not touch your face after the treatment because you may risk moving the gel into unwanted places.
