About Sculptra® Aesthetic
Sculptra® Aesthetic is different from topical treatments and other facial fillers because it works with your body to help revitalize the production of collagen, the natural substance that gives your skin resiliency, elasticity and shape. The result? A more youthful-looking appearance that can last more than two years. (Clinical study ended at 25 months). As a poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) collagen stimulator, it works with your body within the deep dermis, rather than topically, to help restore your skin’s inner structure and volume. As the Sculptra Aesthetic PLLA microparticles are absorbed, they help stimulate collagen production. Rebuilt collagen strands begin gradually helping to restore longer lasting facial volume and the look of fullness to wrinkles and folds.
Sculptra® Aesthetic Reviews
"I went to About Face and Body for Sculptra, Dysport and filler. I’ve had injections done before at other places but this was by far the best expletive I had. Michelle used a method that reduces bruising. Not only did she do an amazing job but I left with no bruising. Also, it was pretty much painless whereas it usually hurts other places Ive been. The results are so natural and I couldn’t be happier."- C.E. / Google / Nov 19, 2019

What to Expect with Sculptra
Following your appointment, you may experience mild to moderate redness, swelling, bruising, or tenderness at the sites of injections that should resolve on its own in a few days. For faster healing, you can apply cold packs to the injection sites. You should limit UV exposure after your treatment and use sun protection. Many patients will see clear improvements almost immediately after their treatment, with complete results appearing after a few months when the natural production of collagen improves the health of the skin. When Sculptra is performed as a series of injections over 3 – 4 months, a patient's results may last up to two years.
How much does Sculptra cost?
Sculptra injections can range in price based on how many units are needed to achieve your goals. You may need multiple injections to get the optimal outcome. During your consultation, your injector will discuss your goals and develop a treatment plan for your specific budget.
What is the best age to receive Sculptra?
Treatment with Sculptra can help if you want to reduce the visibility of wrinkles. It can specifically be used to correct chin wrinkles, lines around the mouth, and deep lines between the nose and mouth. On average, patients start to get Sculptra anywhere from their early 30s to their late 50s; however, Sculptra can be safely used on most men and women who are over the age of 18.
How long do results last?
For longer-lasting results, some patients may want to schedule multiple Sculptra injections. Sculptra is different from other fillers because the results usually last as long as two years. Since collagen production continues to increase after Sculptra injections, results may appear more gradually.
